Motivate Me Monday- Healthy Recipe

First off HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Halloween is my most favoritest holiday and I am so happy it is here
I love the decor, dressing up is a must, scary movies, trick or treaters,
parties and now that we have Maddux
the most fun part is dressing him up and
taking his trick or treating
it is going to be so fun this year!
I even taught him to say trick or treat.
He is a lion
and Ty and I are Punk Rockers
oh yeah don't worry we even have Mohawks :)
Have a safe, fun and spooky night!

Today's Challenge/ Topic is:
Try a healthy new recipe this week and share it with us Today!
Let us know how your week went!

I love smoothies
They are my favorite thing to have for breakfast
I have an egg and a smoothie
so I am always on the look out for a good one
with lots of protein in it
I found this Peanut butter Smoothie HERE

Ingredients
Vanilla Greek Yogurt- 6 oz container
Banana- 1/2 frozen
(just cut a banana into slices put in a zip lock
baggie and Freeze
the take out and put in blender frozen)
Peanut butter- 2 TBSP
Skim Milk- 1 cup
(you can also use Almond milk
but I used skim because it was the same
amount of calories but more protein)

Blend them all together
and viola

Breakdown
Greek Yogurt- 160 Cal   17g Protein
1/2 banana- 45 Cal   1g Protein
Peanut Butter- 180 Cal   7g Protein
Skim Milk- 90 Cal   8g Protein

Total- 475 Cal   33g Protein
But this makes 2 glasses
I drink one glass
and save the other in the fridge
or hubby has it

so for one glass
(and it is super filling so you only need one glass)
 Total- 238 Cal   17g protein

This is yummy for breakfast, a snack or a dessert

This week:

1. I did better with Drinking water
I still struggle with getting my 8 cups in
but I am doing better and am
aware of how much I am drinking now
which I feel like is a good start
Water is good for so much
and I just have to remember that through out the day

2. I exercised 5 times this week
I was so proud of myself
and I really couldn't wait to go each day
the awesome part to is my hubby
went 4 times this week too
and he said he felt so good last week
I am very proud of him

 3. I had really good workouts
and ran 3.2 miles each one of those 5 days
and got better each time
I was sore
but I had way more energy

 4. I am still working on eatting better
first of all I have been eating way too much Halloween candy
I have a horrible sweet tooth
The exercising part comes much more naturally than the eating better part
I just really like food
and not a lot of healthy stuff
so that is where I am in need of a lot of support
any ideas?
Seriously need help

My goals this next week:

 1.  to go to the gym at least twice in the morning

 2. Eat better

3. and to do this
