A Little Bit Country {Day 9} of Leggings

Sometimes I like to pretend I am a cowgirl! Besides the fact that I have never lived or worked on a farm, have never ridden a horse, and have no idea how to lasso, I totally am. Lol so I am not but I do love country music, I have always wanted to live in a small town that everyone knows each others business, I like rustic design, I love tractor rides and big trucks and I really like cowboy hats and boots. I also really hope to ride a horse one day. I want to have a cabin to escape to, to ride horses, to sit in a rocking chair on the porch and watch the sunset and to watch my kids and grand kids grow. I may not be a cowgirl but I am a country loving girl that is for sure. I love the wide open spaces, I love embracing the beauty that surrounds us, and I just can't help it country music is my jam. How can you not like country. The stories, the music and the heart that goes into those lyrics. I feel like I am watching the whole story play out as the song plays on the radio, on a warm summer day, with the sunroof open and my sunglasses on. Country music makes me feel, gets me thinking and gives me hope. I am even one of those crazies that like to workout to country. It soothes me, it pumps me up and it makes me think. So deep down, in my heart, in my past life...or maybe just in my dreams I am a cowgirl at least for the day.

What I Wore {A little Edgy Valentine}

The thing about my style is I don't really have one. I like it all. I enjoy all types of looks and how they make me feel. I like to be feminine, edgy, funky and sometimes some sweats is all I want. I have always been that way, and I think I always will. I do not really like a lot of change when it comes to life, but when it comes to style, clothing and my hair I will change them every single day, maybe even multiple times a day.   Speaking of changing my hair...stay tuned for a fun and dramatic change coming within the next week!

This is just a fun random shirt that I got at target a couple years ago and I love it! why not?! And yes I kinda like Vampires. Mostly I love baseball Tees and the cut of the shirt. Also styled HERE.

I love love love the leather trend right now and I think I love them the most with my favorite boots. They go with everything. You can dress them up or down and they are so comfortable.

Lets talk about this lip stick company for a minute shall we. The company is called inside and out cosmetics. They are amazing. I love the colors, they are all organic ingredients and this company was founded as a channel to raise money for women's causes. A portion of each sale is donated to women charities. How cool is that! Now you want their lipstick don't you?! Go get some you won't regret it.

What I Wore {Camo + Floppy Beanie}

My very favorite thing I got for Christmas are those Boots right there. I love me some combat boots, I have been wanting some forever and now that I have them I wear them almost everyday. I love how they can go with all different styles, and they are so comfortable. The funny thing about combat boots being in style is I totally had some almost just like this in 8th grade. Wish I would have kept those, but honestly I never that they would come back. It is so funny the styles that resurface decades later in just a very slightly different way.

And now... lets talk leggings. By now if you know me you know that I am a bit obsessed with leggings. I wear them almost everyday. I wear them out, I wear them in and I even wear them to the gym. I have a few different brands but my go to and by far my very favorite are the Agnes and Dora Leggings. Their prints are amazing, they fit amazing, they are comfortable and seriously they are the softest fabric you have ever touched. AMAZING!!! The Camo print are probably my most favorite pair, but I really love them all. I've just always had a thing for camo...maybe its because for a half second I thought about joining when I was a teenager, or maybe it is just because I love those men and women in the forces and am so grateful for their sacrifices.

These plain Tees from target are another one of my favorite and staple pieces in my closet. They are comfortable, fit great, I love the length, and are cheap!!! They have all different sold colors which is perfect for the printed leggings, especially with the spring and summer seasons coming up.

Lastly we have to talk this amazing sequins floppy beanie. It is so stinkin cute I die every time I wear it. The sequins gives it just the right about of girlie touch, it is styling and keeps my head warm. Make sure to check out Recycle Consign & Design to get yours also available in black.

Sometimes I like Fashion {What I wore}

Well ya know sometimes I like fashion. But really what better way to ring in the new year then with some of my favorite fashion pieces and color! When I first paired all this together on my bed I thought it might be a little too much but when I put it on it quickly became my favorite. How can you go wrong with leather, fur, polka dots and wellies...in my opinion you cannot!!! Well maybe if you tried real hard...but this time I am calling it a huge success in the style and fashion department.

I am telling you everyone needs a fur vest in their closet. It is my favorite piece from this fall/winter season and I wear it way too much. It keeps me extra warm and it is freakin cute, what more do you need? And the blouse is so comfortable and I love how feminine it makes me feel with the details and pretty yellow bow on the neckline.

So what is with all of the hype of the wellie Boots this season? Are they really all they are cracked up to be? the answer is yes! YES! YES! They are cute, come in all sorts of colors, are so so warm, your toesies will never be cold this winter, and they keep you all dry while you are trekking through the snow and rain. 

Notice something new...? Yuppers I got some new specks and well I am kind of loving them. Although my eyes are crazy and they can't get my prescription right where it needs to be, things are looking better. It is safe to be on the road with me now, no worries. Just kidding but kind of not.
