Favorite Shops #2: Freshly Picked Moccasins {GIVEAWAY}

It is time for Favorite shops #2 and this one is for those sweet babies and kids in your life. It is no lie I LOVE Freshly Picked. Have you heard of Freshly picked? If not I would be super surprised but let me tell you about it. It is a baby and children's handmade moccasins business, This business and the woman, Susan, is all amazing and talent wrapped up together in a nice little fringed bow, or freshly picked drawstring bag rather.

My little Holden bug got his first pair, of Freshly Picked Moccasins as a gift from my mom when he was about 9 months old, they were the Gold and I fell in love with them the first moment I put them on his pudgy little adorable feet. They were just perfect and he liked them too. They still fit him, because the leather stretches a little as they get worn. I loved the gold because they were gender neutral and they went with everything!

Since we loved his first pair so much, we got him a new larger pair and a pair for Maddux. I got blue and brown so they would go with everything and were very BOY!

Prince George Blue // Size 4 for Holden 15 months
Weathered Brown // Size 7 For Maddux age 3.5

They are a little big, but I got them that way on purpose because they are so cute and they can fit into them longer.

I love the blue because they are they hide dirty and grim, they match almost everything and they are easy to wipe clean. Holden really does love them, I know because he is constantly bringing them to me to put on his feet, after he has already tried on his own.

For Maddux I got the brown. I liked the weathered brown for the older boy style. He loves them, says they are so comfy and calls them his slippers.

They do run a little bit big but I would still get the same size so that your child is able to wear them longer. They are too cute for them to grow out of quickly. And you will get even more wear out of them then you would think, since they are leather they stretch a little as they are worn.

Not only are they comfortable, wear well, stretch to last longer, and wipe clean easily, but they come in amazing colors and the style is to die for. I love to pair them with jeans, and little leggings for my baby.

I love how you can get them a little big, but they still stay on their little on the go, running feet with no problem. They are designed for the babies, they are cute and functional. They are so strong and durable and will last through all the crawling, walking, running and playing all to be passed on.

Now the amazing Susan, from Freshly Picked Moccasins and I have teamed up to bring you a giveaway of one pair of your choice of any of her beautifully handmade moccasins. Any color, any size. Enter for your baby, toddler, child, or enter for a gift for someone. Could you imagine getting these at as a baby shower gift. I would die. Any baby/toddler/child would look adorable in these shoes. #Firstday of School and FREE Printables

Today I can say I am officially old enough to have a kid in school. What the heck? When did that happen? My little M is in his first year of preschool and he officially started this morning.

He was so ready and is already in love with it. He told me in the car "Just drop me off mom" Even though that totally made me cry I was so proud that he was so ready and excited to be in school. He ran in and did even look back I had to chase after him just to get a goodbye kiss, but he did give me a huge hug and told me he missed me when I picked him up so that made me feel good.

And yes I did cry when we dropped him off. I'm that crazy mom, oh and I was that mom...you know the one that drops their kid off at school in their workout clothes, crazy hair and no makeup from doing Crossfit right before. Oh well at least I was showered and was ready once I picked him up. Speaking of picking him up he couldn't wait to tell me everything they did and had the biggest smile on his face. This is gonna be a fun adventure for both of us.

I remember growing up it was a tradition to take our pictures on the front porch the first day of school in our new school clothes. It is a tradition I loved, looked forward to, love looking back on and just had to pass on with my own little family. It is a great way to see how much the kids grow and change year to year.

A few of the other traditions we will be passing on and doing in our family include: A fun activity the weekend before school starts, haircut, bath, lay out new first day of school clothes and of course a father blessing {to read more about my LDS religion go HERE or email me with any questions you may have} and a back to school dinner the first day back.

Now this is where the photo sesh got really fun and interesting and what happens when I let hm pose himself. He thought he was pretty creative.

Thumbs up for school. No one is too cool for school not even this Cool kid.

Wow we kind like H&M I'd say

Look how excited he was. He sprinted out of the car up to the door and just stuck his nose to the glass looking in until we could come and help him open the door.

Like the hashtag back to school chalkboard signs? Who doesn't love instagram and hashtags????  Well you are in luck because I designed a whole bunch of varieties for you to download for free as a printable. I know most of you have already started school but there are also a lot of fun ones that can be used through out the year such as the sports, clubs, and dances signs.  Also they would be a fun to give as a teacher gift for their classrooms. And of course pin them to use next year as well. They are FREE they are adorable and you know you want them. Download links below.
