Today I can say I am officially old enough to have a kid in school. What the heck? When did that happen? My little M is in his first year of preschool and he officially started this morning.
He was so ready and is already in love with it. He told me in the car
"Just drop me off mom" Even though that totally made me cry I was so
proud that he was so ready and excited to be in school. He ran in and did even look back I had to chase after him just to get a goodbye kiss, but he did give me a huge hug and told me he missed me when I picked him up so that made me feel good.
And yes I did cry when we dropped him off. I'm that crazy mom, oh and I
was that mom...you know the one that drops their kid off at school in
their workout clothes, crazy hair and no makeup from doing Crossfit
right before. Oh well at least I was showered and was ready once I
picked him up. Speaking of picking him up he couldn't wait to tell me
everything they did and had the biggest smile on his face. This is gonna
be a fun adventure for both of us.
I remember growing up it was a tradition to take our pictures on the front porch the first day of school in our new school clothes. It is a tradition I loved, looked forward to, love looking back on and just had to pass on with my own little family. It is a great way to see how much the kids grow and change year to year.
A few of the other traditions we will be passing on and doing in our family include: A fun activity the weekend before school starts, haircut, bath, lay out new first day of school clothes and of course a father blessing {to read more about my LDS religion go HERE or email me with any questions you may have} and a back to school dinner the first day back.
Now this is where the photo sesh got really fun and interesting and what happens when I let hm pose himself. He thought he was pretty creative.
Thumbs up for school. No one is too cool for school not even this Cool kid.

Wow we kind like H&M I'd say
Look how excited he was. He sprinted out of the car up to the door and just stuck his nose to the glass looking in until we could come and help him open the door.

Like the hashtag back to school chalkboard signs? Who doesn't love instagram and hashtags???? Well you are in luck
because I designed a whole bunch of varieties for you to download for free
as a printable. I know most of you have already started school but there
are also a lot of fun ones that can be used through out the year such
as the sports, clubs, and dances signs. Also they would be a fun to
give as a teacher gift for their classrooms. And of course pin them to
use next year as well. They are FREE they are adorable and you know you
want them. Download links below.
