Running Scared 5&10K Giveaway

I am super excited to be sharing this post with you guys today

Because it combines two of my favorite things 

Running and Halloween

As you know I just had my baby Holden 5 short weeks ago

and I have really missed running and racing

I am really excited to be getting back into running and to have a 

goal of this race to look forward to in October

it is the perfect motivation I need to get me movin again

This family friendly race is going to be a blast

There is a 5k and a 10k option along with a competitive (with a cash prize)
 and non-competitive category

They also STRONGLY encourage dressing up

How fun is that?

I am not sure what I am going to be yet but I will not be passing up 

the opportunity to run in a costume :)

The running course will be a fun, flat course,
along low-traffic residential streets
 in the small city of Herriman, Utah at Tuscany Park

Runners will come across fun Halloween scenes through out the race
You might see president Obama and Mitt Romney campaigning,
or little red ridding hood and her grandmother
The big bad wolf might even chase you!!!!

Strollers and Kids are both Welcome in fact kids under 7 are Free

If you want your children to receive a shirt or metal you can order them for $10

when you register

For everyone else the shirts and metals are included in your registration

Some post race fun includes: Face painting, games and prizes 

for the kids and whole family

The race is $30 for the 5k and $35 for the 10k
