{Day 5} Planning Your Workouts

{Day 5}

New here? Make sure to check out day 1  and my introduction to my
31 day of Health and Exercise series for the month of October
Thank you for reading and coming along with journey with me
I hope to inspire and motivate you through this series

Today I am going to talk about planning out your workouts or exercise time
Planning out my workouts for the week has helped me to stay accountable
and gives me some structure so I am more likely to go workout
and also I am able to get in what I need to in the allotted time that I have that day

So here is how I plan out my workouts:

#1.  I make a week long plan for the next week at the end of the previous week
You could also make a month plan if that is better for you
I like to use this printable to plan out my week and write down everything
You can find it HERE then all you do is download it and print it
or you can just write your plan down on a good old fashion piece of paper :)

#2. I pick which days that week I am going to workout and what days will be my rest days
for rest days I write in rest day

#3. I make sure I get some sort of cardio in each of my workout days
switching up what type of cardio so I don't get bored
and I write down the cardio I will do under each day and for how long

#4. Then I decide what part of the body I am going to workout each day
and write that down under each day

#5. I then take one day at a time and write down the exercises I will
do corresponding with the part(s) of the body I assigned that day
I write down the exercises, the amount, the weight the reps by each exercise

#6. Then I bring my plan with me to the gym so that when I get
there I know exactly what I am doing so as soon as I get to the gym, or go outside,
or have time to workout at home I am able to get it done in a good amount of time
and I am not wasting time figuring out what to do next

As a mom it is hard enough to find time to workout
so when I do find the time I want to make the very most of it and get as much as I can in
planning out my workouts it the solution for this
We are all busy and this is a great time management tip to keep you healthy
and your workouts a priority in your life

I challenge you to sit down right now and plan your workouts for next week
Ready...Set...Plan :)

  1. You need to come make me run every night. I've only gone once this week.
