Cricut Mini Flower Decor Orb Project & Winner

First I wanted to thank the amazing provocraft company. They are amazing to work with. They really care about their affiliates, their employees and most of all their customers. They have amazing, high quality products that every crafter would enjoy. I feel so lucky to be working with such an amazing company and love all of the support they give to this blog.

My Christmas Present from the amazing Provocraft company

Learning how to use the cricut mini, its awesome features and using craftroom online

I was lucky enough to go to their office building a couple weeks ago to have a little class on how to work the cricut mini, all of its features, how to use the craftroom online and just see all the amazing things it can do. While we were there the awesome Nathan from provocraft told us that Cobi asked if the bloggers who were there wouldn't mind helping out with a little service project. Her friend was contacted and asked to help with the decorations for Emilie Parker's funeral (A victim of the Connecticut shooting from Ogden Utah) and asked Cobi if she would help out with her cricut. Well it ended up being a bigger project then they thought so we all said we would love to help. We all got to work using our resources and time and all the cricut machines at the office building. It was so much fun and I felt honored to be able to help out.The decorations were gorgeous, I think I might need to make some for some decor in my home. Cricut really cares about the community and those around them and I am so glad I got this opportunity. You can read more about our experience with this project over HERE.

 Putting the decorative orbs together

One down lots more to go
Aren't they pretty

How to make the decorative orbs:
-You will need, a cricut mini or paper punch in the shape of a flower, paper color of your choice, pins with the balls on the end, Styrofoam decor orbs
-First you will cut the flowers with either your punch or cricut mini
-then you will layer two of the flowers staggering them and then push a pin through the two layered flowers into the deco ball
-Then you will feather up the pedals a little bit to give it some dimension
-Continue this step until the ball is completely covered

I also am so thankful that they were excited to be doing a giveaway for my readers and I hope you all were excited as well. Now to the exciting part the winner of the cricut mini is:

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Congratulations! Merry Christmas and I hope you enjoy your Christmas present from Cricut. I can't wait for you to get it and start creating.
