KSL's Blogger of the Week

I was contacted by KSL and got to be the BLOGGER of the Week back at the end of January. I was so excited and  honored that they gave me this opportunity. I was on the other hand super nervous to be on live TV I know it was only about 5 minutes and who knows who was going to see it but I was nervous none the less. The only other time I have ever been on TV was when I was interviewed for doing gymnastics in the Summer Games when I was 16.  It ended up not being scary at all. They took such great care of me and made me feel so comfortable. Scott Haws talked to me before we came on air and after I got past my silly crush on him (my mom and hubby make fun of me for this  one) and took a deep breath it went really smoothly. Scott said we would just chat and he would lead me with some questions to get the ball rolling and keep it all natural. It is hard to totally be yourself on camera, in fear that you will look dumb but I did it. I showed my awkward side and my silly side but I feel like I did pretty good. I almost had to cancel due to my hubby having an unknown virus and being sick in bed but he insisted I go and my mother in law came to watch the boys. It was so much fun and I would do it again in a heart beat. Here is the clip from when I was on.

Next up is Studio 5.  That's right I am so so excited I got an email from one of the adorable Studio 5 producers to invite me to be on the show. For those of you who do not know Studio 5 is a lifestyle show here in Utah and being asked to be on is kinda a HUGE deal.  I was so excited and in unbelief when I read the email I emailed them back to make sure it was really ME they wanted. Haha I am such a dork. Anyway turns out they do want me on and I am scheduled for Thursday March 7th so make sure to tune in and set your DVRs because it is going to be a good one. Now to decide what to wear. Who wants to come along with me?
