So as many of you know, I took the LSAT a few months ago and did pretty well, good enough, I thought, to get into a good, 1st-tier law school. Unfortunately for me, since the LSAT I took was in February and many schools had already started to accept people by that time, my chances of getting into a school that I really wanted to go to were much slimmer than if I had taken it sooner and applied sooner. Lucky for me though, after a long couple of months of not hearing anything, a couple weeks ago I got a call from one of the schools that I really wanted to go to telling me that I had been accepted. SO.... for the next three years, I'll be studying law at....
Yep, the University of Utah's S.J. Quinney College of Law. We're so excited about this! It is a great program and I'm really lucky that I was accepted, it has been the most competitive application pool they've ever had. We really believe that it's where we're supposed to be. I've been telling Whitney from the very beginning that I had a strong impression about the U and now that's where we'll be!
We're so excited that we get to stay in Utah and be close to family too. Leaving Cedar City will be bitter sweet, though, we are going to miss our friends that we have here. And it seems we keep meeting new people that we want to hang out with, which makes it harder to know that we'll be leaving soon. Oh, and finding a place to live is going to kinda suck too, especially because we are so spoiled to live where we do, we love our place in Sunset Ridge. But we know it's what we're supposed to do and I'm so blessed to be able to go to such a great school and still be close to our families. So now we want to enjoy our last couple of months in Cedar City and then we'll be starting the next stage of our lives!
YAY! Oh congrats to both of you, and I'm super excited that you'll be so much closer!
