Burlap Scrap Halloween Wreath

I L.O.V.E. Halloween and this year I made this super fun, cute

and very very simple Halloween wreath made from orange burlap scraps 

Best part it only cost me about $6

and only took about 20-30 minutes to make 

Supplies I used:

(doesn't matter what it looks like it will be covered) I got this one at Walmart for $3

Orange Burlap about 1 yard

Black Ribbon (had it on hand)

Rotary Cutter

Fabric Scissors

Hot glue or sewing pins

Plastic Spiders (had them on hand)

 What I did:

1. First you are going to cut a long strip to wrap all the way around your wreath form

2. Then you will cut a bunch of strips (I did about 70) about 1 1/2 inches wide and a foot long

Sent the 50-70 strips aside for a minute while you wrap your wreath 

3. Then you are going to start by hot gluing or pining a section of the long strip to your wreath

4. And wrap it all the way around until the whole form is covered in orange burlap secure it with hot glue or a pin at the end

5. Once your form is covered you are going to start the fun part tying all your scraps

to the form just tie them in a double knot around the form side by side and in a little bit different levels to make it look full 

6. Once you get all the way around doing this you can trim them to the length you like

7. Next you are going to take your black ribbon, tie it into a bow

and then hot glue or pin it to the side on your wreath

8. then with another scrap of black ribbon hot glue it to the back making a loop

to hang it from 

9. And lastly get some of those cheapo Plastic spiders (I had some on hand from a sale last year)

and add them to the wreath here and there and wherever you feel they need to go

10. Hang it on your front door and Viola You are done 

and have a festive, unique Halloween wreath to greet those adorable trick or treaters
