The weather is upon us, Spring is in the air and Summer is quickly approaching and all this sunshine can only mean one thing....BBQing and delicious food. One of our family's very favorite BBQ recipes is this amazing grilled chicken marinade that we use for all sorts of gatherings, celebrations, holidays and parties. It is easy and so delicious. We first got the recipe from My brother and sister in laws neighbors you can find it on her blog HERE.We make it for friends and they just can't stop talking about it. And guess what?? It is paleo approved so all you clean eaters out there this one is still for you and full of flavor. I know you will love it too. It is super easy to make a whole bunch at once making it perfect for family and friend get togethers.
Ingredients
-Chicken Tenderloins {one bag}
-Olive oil
-Soy sauce
-Raw Honey
-Cumin
-Oregano
-Salt and pepper
-1 lemon
-garlic
and don't forget the Wet-Nap for clean up at the BBQ this my friends is some messy business but it is all worth it. I found all of the ingredients and Wet-Nap at Walmart, my favorite place to shop for everyday low prices.
-First you are going to thaw the chicken I usually do so in the sink over night. Then you are going to get a big mixing bowl and dump in the chicken including the juices, then add all the ingredients and stir. Once everything is mixed well and the chicken is covered in Marinade you are going to cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and let it sit out on the counter soaking in all the flavor for a couple hours. And I will let you in on a secret it really only takes one hour of it sitting in the marinade for it to be flavorful. Tested and approved.
This marinade mixing and grilling is some messy business so make sure to keep those Wet-Nap handy so keep your hands clean while cooking and serving.
Grill the chicken on Medium heat on your BBQ until cooled all the way through. It probably took about 15 minutes to cook on both sides while still keeping in all the juices and flavor.
Then serve up with some veggies and a jello salad and your BBQ dinner is complete. Make it just for your family, for your friends, for a celebration, a party or the next holiday. Whatever you do just try it you will not regret it. And remember it is Paleo and clean eating approved.
I love using Wet-Nap to keep my hands sanitized while cooking, cleaning up my kids after an outside meal and to clean those toes after running around on the grass. My goodness Summer is fun and those Wet-Nap sure help keep us all clean and ready to play and eat more.
Right now you can get fifty-five cents off any Wet-Nap product at Walmart while supplies last. Now go run to Walmart and get all the essentials for this recipe including the Wet-Nap I promise your families and guests will ask you for the recipe.
