Laser Hair Removal {Elase Medical Spa}

For the next couple of months I am going to be sharing with you my experiences at Elase Medical Spa. When you think Spa, you might think pedicures, manicures, facials and etc. Well this is not that kind of a spa this is all medical procedures like chemical peels, laser hair removal, fillers and even botox. I have had the opportunity to be able to work along side them and I am really excited about it. I am not going to lie at first I was a little nervous and wasn't sure this was all for me. It intimidated me and I felt well a little weird about it.

Then I stepped into Elase and instantly felt a little more at ease. First of all the facility is gorgeous and I felt so comfortable and relaxed right from the start. The calming blue, mirrors and gorgeous chandeliers were perfect. All of the employees I have met are so sweet, they really know their stuff and make you feel like a million bucks, not to mention they will answer every question you have. My consolation went great and they walked me through everything that they offered. Again I felt a little intimidated not knowing what I was doing here, or even what I really wanted done. But then after talking to them I got thinking, what is wrong with feeling good about myself? What is wrong with taking care of myself? and what is wrong with getting a little pampering? well nothing so I ran with it and I am so glad I did. I signed right up for the laser hair removal and I could not wait to get started.

The first appointment came fast, and again on the drive there I got those butterflies in my stomach not knowing quite what to expect. I walked through the doors and although it was beautiful I was still a little nervous. They took me back to my room {It is kinda like a doctors office room, but more welcoming} and explained to me everything that was going to happen, everything I needed to do and answered all my questions. After that I was ready to go and just wanted to see what this was all about.

First, before I even got to the appointment I was told to shave the area completely or as clean as I could. I also used some numbing cream called Dr. Numb 20 minutes before my procedure. So I just put it on right before I left my house. I heard that this could be really painful {The one I have heard is without the cream it feels like a ton of rubber bands being flicked onto your skin all at the same time} so this cream put my mind as ease. I will tell you it was so worth it! I hardly felt a thing. So yes spend the extra money on it, you will not be sorry. I am all about comfort.

Back to the appointment, once I was there, they gave me the run down and answered all my questions it was time to start. Myself and the cute aestatician had to wear these nifty glasses since we were working with a laser.The whole thing from start to finish took less than 10 minutes. It was fast, simple, they some how made me feel comfortable and there was very little pain. She told me what she was doing the whole time so I felt at ease. My first appointment I am going to classify as an all around success!

In order to receive the results of 70-90% reduction in hair growth you will need a series of 8-12 treatments, each treatment is about 5-6 weeks apart. So despite what I thought this is not a quick fix. All great things take time right?!  There is a 20-30% less re-growth after every treatment. So you are able to see the progress each time, I am really excited for this part.  I just recently did my first treatment and am excited for this journey, to see the progress and to share it with you. I have chosen to share this experience so that you too, if you are curious, can have your questions answered and can get the information you need or want to be able to participate in these services as well.

Elase offers affordable monthly payments starting at $35 per month, and I will be talking a little more about the costs, my feelings on the worth and how this is for everyone in some future posts so get excited!
