Elase Medical Spa {Laser hair Removal, Botox} & a GIVEAWAY

Remember how I have been going into Elase Medical Spas of Utah and have been getting laser hair removal?  You can read all about my experiences up to date and answers to your questions and concerns about laser hair removal HERE and HERE.

To sum it up I have loved the experience and the results have been amazing. I have done 6 treatments and have 2-6 more to go depending on the overall results, that have been tracked each visit. When you have lighter hair it is harder for the laser to see the follicles and the results may not be as good as darker hair. I have lighter hair and it is working great for me. So don't be scared to try it out if you have light hair, to be sure Elase has free consultations and they will give you their honest and most helpful advice. I will continue to keep you up to date and answer an questions you may have about laser hair removal, but next I just have to tell you about Botox.

Yes, you heard that I right I tried Botox. This is a procedure I never thought I would do, in fact it was pretty much guaranteed, that is until I really knew anything about it. All you ever see is the no expressionless face and the balloon lips when you hear about botox out in the media. For some reason in our society it is a hush hush subject and some would go as far to say as you shouldn't do it. And I bought into that all, that is until I went in for my Elase laser hair removal appointments and talked a little bit more about their other procedures with them. They are so nice to answer all my questions and I would go as far as say I was totally convinced that this is something I wanted to try.

I had no idea that they start you out on very small units, that there were multiple places you can get it and that it can look so youthful and natural not all fake and expressionless like I thought. When they mentioned the area on your forehead right between your eyebrows I knew that is what I wanted to try. I have always hated how deep my frown lines are in that area. I also have bad eyes and squint a lot so it looks like I am glaring/scowling all the time I hate it and have been very self conscious about it, and it just gets worse the older I get. So I thought why not I will give that one tiny area a try if it is going to make me feel good.

You guys I am so glad that I did it the difference is amazing and it is giving me more confidence. No one has asked me if I got botox but I have had a few people ask what I have been using on my face because it just looks more awake and youthful. When I squint I don't feel like I am glaring and I just feel better, just that one small tiny area.

It was so fast and very little pain with big results. They use super tiny needles like diabetic needles to transport the units into the areas you are wanting. I have 20 units all together to get rid of my scowl and it was plenty. You will have a tiny bit of bleeding that will stop within minutes and some swelling that will be down in 20 minutes to a half hour. Around day two I started seeing small results and it felt a tiny bit heavy but nothing bad just a slight pressure for a day. Then at about day 8 I saw the full results.

BEFORE: with no expression or squinting
You can see the lines even when I am doing nothing with my face

AFTER: with no expression or squinting
No more lines Wahoo!

BEFORE: With expression and squinting

AFTER: with expression and squinting

Isn't that after with me squinting AMAZING!!! I know it is something so small but it makes me feel so much better and that is what I love about Elase medical spa. It is not about being vain it is all about feeling your best, confident and strong. So would I recommend Botox or do it again myself. YES!!! I totally would! Here, at Elase they know what they are doing they are only going to make you look your best.

Elase Laser Hair Removal part 2 {And a HUGE giveaway}

Some of you may know from this post that I am working along side Elase Medical Spas and I have been going in for laser hair removal treatments. You can read all about my first appointment HERE. I was super nervous for that first appointment and I was so pleased and surprised how unscary it really was and I was even more excited about the results. Going into the second and third appointments were a breeze.

I just had my third treatment yesterday and the results are already blowing me away. The hairs are already thinner and growing less and less. It is getting me so excited to see better and better results as we go through the treatments. And can I just say that walking through those doors and seeing this gorgeous lobby instantly relaxes me.

I don't know why I never thought to do this before or why I was even intimidated by the whole medical spa thing. It is amazing! The services, the facility and the staff are so calming, sweet and I look forward to each time I get to go back in.

If you are getting laser hair removal done I highly recommend investing in some Dr. Numb It is amazing. You barely feel a thing just a tiny prickle and it is cold, which I heard is much better than when there is no Dr. Numb in the picture. It is just a little tub of cream you put on the area being treated 20 minutes before contact with the laser. I just put it on right before I leave for the appointment and that is plenty of time to work.

Again I just have to brag about this amazing staff. They are so sweet and professional but they are just like a friend. They tell you everything they are doing and why and what to expect. I also love how they just talk to you the whole time about whatever and it is never an awkward silences like the Dr. office or the dentist or even some salons. They become your friend and remember you from each treatment.

Don't forget the groovy glasses you get to wear during your procedure to protect those pretty eyes of yours. It took a total of 6 minutes to do the 3rd treatment fast right. And they don't over book so right when I walk in the door they are ready for me and talking me back to my room.

And yes, once your appointment is over you walk on over just down a couple doors into the Sweettooth fairy to get yourself a yummy cupcake. Because Why not?!

So now that I have told you a little about my 3rd visit and the great results I am already getting lets get to the BIG SURPRISE!!!! The amazing ladies over at Elase Medical Spa want to help you get rid of your unwanted hair as well! That right!!!!!! Are you excited yet. They are letting me giveaway an underarm laser hair removal membership. HUGE!!!! This is a FULL 18 month membership valued at $630. What? Are you just jumping with joy?! I hope so because I am for you right now I may have even done a few sweet celebrator dance moves for you too. Laser Hair Removal {Elase Medical Spa}

For the next couple of months I am going to be sharing with you my experiences at Elase Medical Spa. When you think Spa, you might think pedicures, manicures, facials and etc. Well this is not that kind of a spa this is all medical procedures like chemical peels, laser hair removal, fillers and even botox. I have had the opportunity to be able to work along side them and I am really excited about it. I am not going to lie at first I was a little nervous and wasn't sure this was all for me. It intimidated me and I felt well a little weird about it.

Then I stepped into Elase and instantly felt a little more at ease. First of all the facility is gorgeous and I felt so comfortable and relaxed right from the start. The calming blue, mirrors and gorgeous chandeliers were perfect. All of the employees I have met are so sweet, they really know their stuff and make you feel like a million bucks, not to mention they will answer every question you have. My consolation went great and they walked me through everything that they offered. Again I felt a little intimidated not knowing what I was doing here, or even what I really wanted done. But then after talking to them I got thinking, what is wrong with feeling good about myself? What is wrong with taking care of myself? and what is wrong with getting a little pampering? well nothing so I ran with it and I am so glad I did. I signed right up for the laser hair removal and I could not wait to get started.

The first appointment came fast, and again on the drive there I got those butterflies in my stomach not knowing quite what to expect. I walked through the doors and although it was beautiful I was still a little nervous. They took me back to my room {It is kinda like a doctors office room, but more welcoming} and explained to me everything that was going to happen, everything I needed to do and answered all my questions. After that I was ready to go and just wanted to see what this was all about.

First, before I even got to the appointment I was told to shave the area completely or as clean as I could. I also used some numbing cream called Dr. Numb 20 minutes before my procedure. So I just put it on right before I left my house. I heard that this could be really painful {The one I have heard is without the cream it feels like a ton of rubber bands being flicked onto your skin all at the same time} so this cream put my mind as ease. I will tell you it was so worth it! I hardly felt a thing. So yes spend the extra money on it, you will not be sorry. I am all about comfort.

Back to the appointment, once I was there, they gave me the run down and answered all my questions it was time to start. Myself and the cute aestatician had to wear these nifty glasses since we were working with a laser.The whole thing from start to finish took less than 10 minutes. It was fast, simple, they some how made me feel comfortable and there was very little pain. She told me what she was doing the whole time so I felt at ease. My first appointment I am going to classify as an all around success!

In order to receive the results of 70-90% reduction in hair growth you will need a series of 8-12 treatments, each treatment is about 5-6 weeks apart. So despite what I thought this is not a quick fix. All great things take time right?!  There is a 20-30% less re-growth after every treatment. So you are able to see the progress each time, I am really excited for this part.  I just recently did my first treatment and am excited for this journey, to see the progress and to share it with you. I have chosen to share this experience so that you too, if you are curious, can have your questions answered and can get the information you need or want to be able to participate in these services as well.

Elase offers affordable monthly payments starting at $35 per month, and I will be talking a little more about the costs, my feelings on the worth and how this is for everyone in some future posts so get excited!
