Happy Father's Day {2013}

As you all know this last weekend was Father's day so I wanted to take a second to tell the men in my life why I love and appreciate them so much. First off I just have to say I love that there is a day dedicated to all the hard working dads out their, they deserve it and should be celebrated for all they do for their families. Dads, you are the real life superheroes we all need.

First up of course is my amazing hubby, my best friend and the daddy to our two little sweet boys. I am so grateful for him and feel so so lucky to have him in my life and to be my companion and partner in crime in this whole adventure we call parenthood for eternity. Why is he such a great dad? Well let me tell you:

-He is kind
-He is patient
-He loves to get down on the boys level and play with them
-He teaches our boys
-He reads to them
-He teaches them the importance of the gospel
-He is an amazing example of hard work
-He holds and is worthy of the priesthood

-He is loving
-He sings them to sleep
-He comforts them when he is sad
-He treats me amazing
-He laughs with them
-He wrestles them
-He lets them help him when he does yard work
-He tells them he loves them everyday, multiple times a day
-He is their hero

Thank you Ty for being the dad I always wanted for my children. Thank you for loving me just as much as I love you. Thank you for being my partner and for always working so hard for us. We love you Happy Fathers Day!

Next up I wanted to tell my own dad how much I love and appreciate him in my life. Can I just tell you this man will do anything for us, his family. He is so hard working, loving supportive and smart. I am always amazed by how much he knows, and how much I learn from him and his random facts. He has skills in so many different areas and is always fixing something. Right now he is flipping an RV and it is so much fun to see the progress in pictures.

My favorite memories with my dad is when he is making us all laugh. He has the best sense of humor and I am glad he passed that on to me. I also loved when he would play his guitar for us growing up and we would all sing along. He really is the best. I love you dad and am thankful for all your hard work and love!

And of course I could never forget my father in law. What a guy. Seriously he is one of the kindest people I think I have ever met in my life. He is always serving and helping others and is glad to do so. What a great example. He treats me like I am his own daughter and gives me a hug every single time I see him, which is a lot. I love that!

I am so thankful for everything he has done for my family and especially thankful for the way he raised his sons. Ty learned so much from him and is a great man and father because of what he taught him. Thank you we love you!
